Mission Statement
Did you know that hunger kills more people than AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined? While we would gladly welcome cures for these diseases, the world hunger problem is greater issue.
We believe that we can do three things for the future generation:
- Together we can eradicate poverty – We want to create a world where nobody goes to bed hungry.
- Help Africa that has a high population that cannot afford quality meals each day. We offer high-quality, nutritious food to Nigeria’s poorest population.
- Passion – Eyeround Foundation Inc. is driven by passion to help those who are suffering from extreme hunger, malnutrition, and starvation.
Our focus on children, orphans and youth
Children, youths, and orphans are supported by our foundation, as they are particularly vulnerable to hunger and poverty. Young people in Africa often face extreme poverty, inadequate shelter, and a lack of education.
These problems are exacerbated when food is unavailable, causing a knock-on effect which destroys their health, education, and prospects for the future. If we can provide poor children with nutritious and healthy meals, we can improve their lives and give them a viable future.
Our food is prepared in a clean and hygienic environment, being served with love by dedicated professionals. We use the freshest and highest-quality ingredients we can find, striving to not just feed the people – but to feed them well! All of our meals are safe, filling, and conducive to a healthy diet.
How We Work
First, we comb the streets and towns of impoverished regions, finding people who cannot afford their next meal. Then we conduct a pre-assessment test, confirming that these people cannot manage to feed themselves before bestowing the generous grace of God upon them.
Ultimately, we are all God’s children, and our privileges should not divide us or make us blind to the suffering around us.
Hungry people cannot progress, succeed, or develop in their lives – they are too worried about where their next meal will come from. Once they are guaranteed food from the Eyeround Food Foundation Incorporated, disadvantaged people can progress in their lives and strive for a better future.
