Did you know that there are over 1 billion people in the world who are undernourished? That is about 1 in 9 people on earth. And most of them do not have access to nutritious food, which is why they are malnourished.

One of the world’s biggest problems is poverty and food supply insecurity in particular. Some so many people are living in poverty who do not have money for basic needs and food. After day after day, month after month, year after year of living in such extreme poverty, these people can feel as though they have been abandoned, forgotten, or both. We have found that coming alongside people in need provides a life preserver of hope. It is a hope that can be the first step down the road to getting out of poverty. But before we strengthen their circumstances, we must support them physically, and that means nourishing them.

Our History

Eyeround Food Foundation Incorporated is a 501c nonprofit organization fully registered in the US, with head office in Minnesota. Since its inception, the necessity to tackle the hunger problem in underserved households in the US and Africa has been our motivation.

With a determined mission to provide access to nutritious meals daily in the USA and Africa, many households and people living in low-income communities and without a stable means of economic sustenance can get help from the various consequent effect of HUNGER. Seeing so many hungry people is disheartening, and POVERTY remains at the root of this menace, hence a need to tackle the hunger problem holistically.

Economically, there is a limitation on achievement and progress in communities where many individuals are hungry. Human Capital empowerments will yield minimal results in communities where we have hungry, malnourished people.

Therefore, addressing the hunger problem will give the underserved in communities we serve equal and competitive opportunities in science, engineering, arts, and technology, empowering women, households, and young minds to see and pursue opportunities.

Our Vision

Our vision is to eliminate extreme hunger, starvation, and malnutrition in children, households, widows, young women, and girls.

Hunger affects millions of children, seniors, and households in communities across the country. It has no boundaries. That is why EFF has programs to reach children, seniors, and families irrespective of where they live. EFF programs get food to people where they are and when they need it most in the city or countryside.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide good nutritious meals and empowerment to households, widows, young women, and girls in the USA and Africa, irrespective of their culture, language, religion, or tribe.

We provide

  • A healthy meal all year round for children, widows, young women, girls, and households
    in the USA and Africa
  • A safe space to help widows, young women, girls, youth, and those recovering from chronic diseases to find their way back into society as they overcome adversity.
  • A chance to return dignity, the community of love and support as they rebuild their lives

Our Focus
We put women and girls in the center because we know we cannot overcome poverty until everyone has equal rights and opportunities.

We are making progress in MN, but our dream is to create an even more enormous difference globally. Please take action today by donating any amount you can afford or volunteering your time with us!

Principles
Impartiality
We do not discriminate. We offer help to people based on their needs. It does not matter their race, which religion they belong to, or their political affiliations. We give priority to those in the most severe and dire need addressing the rights of vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls.

Independence
Our decision to offer help is on our evaluation of nutrition needs, independent of political, economic, or religious interests. We strive to evaluate needs, access populations without restriction freely, and directly deliver the aid we provide.

Transparent and Accountable
Our transparent and accountable principles are in line with those of many other humanitarian agencies. We take responsibility for accounting for our actions to our donors and being open to our choices. We evaluate, review, and debate on our community’s activities and broader humanitarian issues.
